Greenville Technical College Economic Development and Corporate Training division has a dedicated staff of specialists and organizational consultants whose mission is to assist business and industry in finding solutions to problems. We can connect with a variety of government entities to assist businesses in meeting challenges associated with competing nationally and internationally.

readySC

readySC provides customized training for new and expanding businesses within the state. Often this training can be provided at little or no cost to qualified companies.

E-Zone

The South Carolina Enterprise Zone Act offers financial incentives for qualifying businesses which locate in one or more of the specific enterprise zones within the state.

WIA

South Carolina’s Workforce Investment Act focuses on needs of businesses for skilled workers and the training, education and employment needs of individuals.

Registered Apprenticeships

Registered Apprenticeship programs are a great solution to the shortage of skilled and specialized technical employees. This program allows employers to structure the training specific to their needs. Tax incentives are available.

Note: Most courses are on the training Provider List for South Carolina under the Trade Adjustment Program(TAA). If you have been downsized due to business going off-shore, you may qualify for funding provided by TAA. For more information, please contact your local state employment office and ask about the Trade Act.
