Our instructors are NCCER Certified and have decades of training and work experience to help you learn all of the skills needed to be competitive in today’s job market. Our welding program uses NCCER curriculum for training.
In addition to traditional training, Economic Development and Corporate Training at Greenville Technical College offers its services to companies who utilize welders within their industry. We offer a variety of services such as:
- skills assessments for individual workers
- booth rentals for testing
- welding consulting services for those in need of developing and/or qualifying weld procedure specifications (WPS)
- procedures for setting up or maintaining a welding program.
Our Welding Training Center at Barton Campus is located at 506 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607 in Building 106B.

Experienced Welders who want to expand their career opportunities can choose between the courses below and receive 1:1 specialized classroom/hands-on training.
