The Vice President for Corporate and Economic Development leads the Buck Mickel Center, the college’s continuing education division. The division offers not-for-credit courses, training leading to certifications and licensure, and personal interest and enrichment classes. Additionally, the division works with hundreds of companies, providing customized training and consulting to help business and industry gain and maintain competitive strength through employee development.
The Vice President leads the college’s economic development efforts in Greenville and South Carolina’s Upstate and works with other strategic organizations in the area to support development of a workforce to meet the needs of current and future employers.
The office of the Vice President for Corporate & Economic Development is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
