GREENVILLE TECH FOUNDATION

Campaign Priorities

Fund for Success

There is a critical need for unrestricted funds that will be directed towards the college and foundation's greatest needs. As state assistance has declined, the need for a steady revenue stream has increased. The college also needs the flexibility to promptly respond to the community's urgent needs. Unrestricted funds ensure Greenville Tech will continue its service of excellence.

High Tech for Greenville Tech
In order to prepare students for the workplace, Greenville Tech must invest thousands of dollars annually on state-of-the-art technology. To remain current and upgrade all computers on campus every 4 years, the college needs a minimum of $500,000 per year.

Brashier Campus
Enrollment at the Brashier Campus on West Georgia Road continues to rise. Costs for technology and quality instruction are also expected to grow to meet the demand. You can invest in the future of the Golden Strip by supporting this campaign.

Greer Campus
Enrollment at the Greer Campus on Locust Hill Road continues to rise. Costs for technology and quality instruction are also expected to grow to meet the demand. You can invest in the future of the Greer Community by supporting this campaign.

Northwest Campus
The new campus is scheduled to open on White Horse Road in the spring of 2008 to serve the northwest area of the community. A Heritage Center will house memorabilia from Parker High School, Berea, Travelers Rest, Slater-Marietta, and West Greenville. It will also feature a community meeting room.

Faculty/Staff Enhancement and Development
To maintain quality instruction and service, our faculty and staff must constantly upgrade their skills. The instructors must be current with the workforce needs in the community.

Student Scholarships
While the lottery is helpful, it only covers approximately 75% of the student's tuition and fees. It also does not cover textbooks which average over $1,300 per year. Private support is critical to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to attend college.
