L
ottery Tuition Assistance award set

For Fall Semester 2007, Greenville Tech tuition and fees can be reduced to $781 for Greenville County residents studying full time and qualifying for lottery tuition assistance. This figure is based on a maximum Lottery Tuition Assistance award of $864 set by the Commission on Higher Education for fall.

Qualifying for lottery funds is not based on income, and the money does not have to be paid back. To be eligible, a student must be a South Carolina resident, complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), be enrolled in at least six credit hours, and maintain reasonable academic progress. The student cannot owe a refund or repayment of a state grant, Pell Grant or FSEOG, be in default on a loan under the Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Stafford Loan, or William D. Ford programs, or be a LIFE scholarship recipient.
