	NEWS AND EVENTS Becky Mann, Director of Public Relations 864.250.8305 ------------------------ Get to know Greenville Tech Greenville Tech Facts ------------------------ Campus Locations October 24, 2007 Greenville Tech team vies to be best motivators on the race course A Greenville Tech team of students and teachers will man four motivation stations at the Spinx RunFest Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, October 28. The motivation stations are stops where runners will find food, water and encouragement. Volunteers will play music, recognize runners by name, and cheer them on or console them. At the end of the race, participants will choose the best motivation station. Many Greenville Tech organizations will be involved in the effort including the Rotaract Club, Alpha Sigma Zeta, faculty members, psychology honors students, and exchange students from the Near East and South East Asia (NESA). The Spinx Run Fest South Carolina is in its third year. Designed to celebrate running as a healthy lifestyle, the festival will include a variety of runs and walks for all abilities and ages. Speakers, training programs and seminars and an exposition will be educational and fun for runners and the community at large.
