Study rooms
Three study rooms, each seating up to six, are available. Two of these rooms have permanent
computer stations and are used for group study and/or computer use. The third is used for group
study and/or laptop. Each computer has Microsoft Office applications installed.
Walk-ins are welcomed. First come, first served.
Priority is given first to faculty, then to groups, and then to individuals.
Reservations are not necessary, but sign-in is required.
A reservation may be canceled or altered for priority-use reasons.
Reservations are limited to 3 hours. Renewals are possible if there is no one waiting.
A reservation is forfeited 10 minutes after start-time if no one is present.
Laptops
- A laptop is available for use in the Library's study room.
- Laptop may be checked out for two hours and renewed for an additional two hours; it is available for student use only.
- Students must provide their own storage device (e.g. flash drive) to save documents and files.
- Visit the Circulation Desk to sign out our laptop.
- Wi-Fi service is available for laptop users.
Computers
Computers are available for educational and informational purposes, with priority given to individuals needing access to the Library's catalog, collections and electronic resources.
Microsoft Office products, including Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint, are available in the Library on designated computers. Access to these programs can also be found at any of the college's open computer labs, including Computer Valley near the Library.
