Two developmental reading courses are taught in lecture format: RDG 032 and RDG 100.  Reading emphasizes vocabulary development and general comprehension skills.  Further, these classes strive to give the individual the skills to read more efficiently, accurately, rapidly and effectively.

Students are routinely given practice in following written directions, interpreting graphs and charts and separating fact from opinion.  Course skills also include time management, note/test taking and listening skills.
