ESL Career Focus Fall 07
Do you want to attend classes to prepare for a career but have trouble reading and writing English at an academic level?

Greenville Technical College offers ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at high-intermediate to ESLadvanced levels in Listening/Speaking, Grammar, Pronunciation, Reading and Writing. These classes will help you improve your English skills so that you can continue your career goals.

The ESL classes at Greenville Technical College are at the intermediate to advanced levels.  To register for classes you must follow the steps below:

1.  Go to Greenville Tech’s Admissions and Registration Center in McAlister Square (225 South Pleasantburg Dr., Greenville, 29607) and fill out an application

     Make sure you bring all your documentation, i.e. green card, passport, residency 

     card, etc., or any other document that shows your status in the US.

2.  Take the placement testESL Compass” at the Testing Center located at McAlister Square.       
     Cost:  free
     Hours of operation:  Monday-Thursday, 8am-7pm; Friday 8am -1pm

ESL3.  After taking the exam, call the ESL office to set up an appointment for advising (250-8396).  Your advisor will help you choose the classes appropriate for your level and your schedule.  Your advisor will register you for the classes.
