The Humanities Department provides learning experiences that enrich every student – those who plan to transfer to four-year colleges and universities and those learning technical skills in order to enter the job market. By giving students a connection to the past and a context for understanding their world in the future, these courses in history, philosophy, foreign languages, religion, and other topics explore our culture and create better employees and better citizens.
Our faculty is made up of highly qualified professionals who stay current in their disciplines. The emphasis is on student success with plenty of one-on-one attention and a caring attitude.
