The college that works for tomorrow’s caregivers.
Greenville Tech’s Nursing program, established over 30 years ago, is accredited by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing and the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
The program emphasizes practical experience in a variety of health care settings, and it is this hands-on, clinical training, local health care experts say, that sets the program apart. Employers who repeatedly rely on Greenville Tech nursing graduates express confidence in the program and in the skill level new hires bring to the job. And employer satisfaction is not the only measure of the program’s success. The pass rate for graduates on the licensing exam required to become a registered nurse is consistently at or above the national and state percentage. According to data from the South Carolina Colleagues in Caring project, the nursing shortage is acute and is predicted to become worse in the next 10 to 15 years. In fact, South Carolina’s situation is even more critical than many other areas. And that means tremendous opportunities as Greenville Tech nursing graduates enter the workplace well prepared for success.
