Welcome!

Dr. TiwariI'm delighted that you are interested in the Arts and Sciences division at Greenville Tech. Our University Transfer (UT) program is well known and well respected statewide and beyond for allowing students to gain a strong academic foundation.

You can complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree with us and then transfer to a four-year college or university. Studies show that when you begin at a two-year college, you'll go on to do as well or better than students who started at the four-year institutions as freshmen.

At Greenville Tech, you'll find plenty of support along the way. Our Learning Center is waiting when you need help getting started on a writing assignment, you run across a math problem Arts and Sciencesyou can't solve, or you need some assistance with the computer. If you need someone to talk to, our counselors can listen and steer you toward services that meet your needs. There's even tutoring if you find yourself falling behind. Our goal is to help you every step of the way, and we'll do whatever we can to see that you succeed.

Transferring is easy. We're accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools just as Clemson and USC are, so four-year colleges readily accept our students and credits. Our South Carolina neighbors make it even easier We have joint admission agreements in place for many majors with Lander University and North Greenville University. Bridge programs are in place with University of South Carolina, USC Upstate and College of Charleston. And we’ve established agreements with the state’s HBCUs including Allen University, Benedict College, Claflin University, Morris College, South Carolina State University, and Voorhees College. These partnerships mean that the credits you earn here are guaranteed to transfer there and apply to your bachelor’s degree program.

Arts and SciencesIf you have your sights set on a bachelor's degree, get off to the right start. Greenville Tech's University Transfer program is college that works for people with plans. My door is always open (both literally and virtually). Please feel free to email me at dr.suresh.tiwari@gvltec.edu. Alternatively, please give me a call at (864) 250-8187. Let us get to know you, your needs, and your dreams of success. Best wishes for your educational journey.
