Many were hired straight out of the culinary arts program in the college of Technical Business at Greenville Tech, now renamed as the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas. Restaurants owners know that Greenville Tech graduates have what it takes because many of these business leaders serve on the program’s advisory board, providing input on coursework and equipment needed to create a top-notch curriculum.
The Culinary Institute of the Carolinas assists students with becoming successful hospitality managers through flexible and individualized interdisciplinary major programs including Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, Baking and Pastry, Dietary, and Catering. Each area of concentration is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and practical experiences needed to be successful in the rapidly expanding hospitality industry.
