        9-10 a.m.                 Welcome and Introductions

                                          J. Verne Smith Library/Technical Resource Center (TRC)

                                          Auditorium (Building 102)

         10:15-11:15 a.m.     Panel Discussions

                                                 Parents — TRC Auditorium (Building 102)

                                                 Students — Strom Thurmond Criminal Justice

                                                              Building Courtroom (Building 121) Room 120

        

         11:30-12:15 p.m.     Meet with College of Charleston representative

                                          TRC Auditorium (Building 102)

                                                     

         12:30-1:30 p.m.       Lunch – Student Center Food Court (Building 105)

         1:30-7 p.m.              Admissions and Registration Center (ARC)

                                                   McAlister Square – offices close at 7:00pm

Become a graduate of USC Upstate!

Now there’s another way to reach your college goals. The University of South Carolina Upstate and Greenville Technical College have partnered to form the Bridge Program, a new alternate route to a bachelor’s degree. The USC Upstate partnership will give you an opportunity to attend Greenville Technical College your freshman year to prepare for a successful transition to USC Upstate as a sophomore!

Why Bridge?

  • After completing 30 transfer hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher, depending on your major, you’ll be guaranteed transfer admission and priority registration to USC Upstate.
  • Get a great introduction on how to succeed in college with Greenville Tech’s College Skills (COL 103) class, which teaches you how to manage time, study smarter and achieve your goals faster. It even counts as credit toward your degree from Upstate.
  • Get one-on-one advice from USC Upstate Admissions Counselors and an academic advisor in the Greenville Tech Admissions and Registration Center at McAlister Square.
  • Get a handful of extras like free admission to USC Upstate athletic events and other student activities.

How do I get started?

  1. Complete the form to request USC Upstate forward your application for admission to Greenville Technical College (no additional fee required).
  2. Take Greenville Technical College Assessment Testing prior to attending the mandatory orientation..
  3. Meet with your academic advisor and register for classes.
  4. Attend GTC/Upstate Orientation.
  5. Pay fees and begin class!

You can take advantage of an affordable tuition. Bridge students pay tuition and fees for enrollment to Greenville Technical College while attending classes at Greenville Technical College.
