For New Students
The Advising Center is located at McAlister Square, 225 S. Pleasantburg Dr., Suite 410. This area provides academic advising and registration support to new Greenville Tech students.
Academic advisors are available during the day and evening to advise and register new students who are planning to attend or are reapplying to Greenville Tech.
New and readmitted students must register with academic advising in the Advising Center. Students are then assigned to an academic advisor or faculty advisor in their academic major. Returning students must seek advisement/registration assistance from their assigned advisor and to use Campus Cruiser and Web Advisor.
Within the center, resource materials are available from a variety of colleges and universities for students’ benefit. The center serves students on a walk-in basis or by appointment. Students are encouraged to drop in for any assistance they may need. For more information, call (864) 250-8167.
Report to your academic advisor during regular hours for approval of courses. The Schedule Request form must be signed by your advisor unless you have been approved for and choose to utilize self-scheduling.
New Student Orientation
During advisement, your advisor will schedule you for a New Student Orientation. This is a one-hour, non-credit one time introductory class to Greenville Tech’s student services, resources, Campus Cruiser, academic success, and general information that will help you get the most out of your education and experience here.
For Current Students
Every student is assigned an Academic Advisor. Faculty as well as professional advisors are assigned advisees in their area of specialty. If you do not know who your Academic Advisor is, go to Web Advisor on Campus Cruiser and view "My Profile" to find out, or contact one of the professional advisors below.
After meeting with an Academic Advisor students will be able to register for classes online through CampusCruiser.
