Free on-line tutoring service for all current Greenville Tech students!

SMARTHINKING on-line tutoring services is funded by the college to assist all Greenville Tech students who are in need of additional academic assistance in a course. SMARTHINKING services are designed to promote student success by improving academic achievement, which will contribute to higher rates of college retention and college graduation.

Some of the topics that are included are:

• Writing
• Mathematics (basic skills through calculus)
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Biology
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Accounting
• Economics
• ….and much more!

When you use the tutoring service, you’ll have the option of choosing a live, interactive tutor or being able to submit a question, paragraph or paper through their online service.

How to get started with on-line tutoring:

• Log on to your Campus Cruiser Account
• Click on the Academics link in the black bar
• Click on the On-line tutoring in the gray bar on the left (just beneath “My Classes.”)
• Click on to the SMARTHINKING LINK
• Select the subject you are seeking
• Start your on-line tutoring session.

When you click on the link, Smarthinking will test your PC and request you to disable any pop-up blocker and to be sure you have ‘cookies’ enabled. It will even give you directions for taking care of these issues.

Important note: ALWAYS access the tutoring service via the link on the Academics tab. If you set up your own account via the Smarthinking website, you will incur charges. By using the link provided, the service is free!!!

And one hint: when the page loads inside CampusCruiser, click the button that says “Open in New Window.”
