Biological Sciences

The Biology Department at Greenville Technical College provides a challenging curriculum that encourages critical thinking. Whether you plan a science-based career in biotechnology, nursing, or another discipline, or your career plans lie in another area, you will gain not only a strong foundation but a greater appreciation for living organisms.

Our faculty is made up of highly qualified professionals whose focus is teaching and helping students excel in the classroom.   • Anatomy & Physiology, Ecology, Environmental Science, General Biology, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology, and Nutrition (BIO)
  • Biotechnology (BTN)
  • Medical Terminology (AHS)

Department Activities

Biology professors sponsor the Greenville Technical College Recycling Coalition. The Recycling Coalition began in 2007 with a focus on environmental and recycling awareness. Please contact Lynn Spicher or Brad Caldwell for details.
