Greenville Technical College offers a number of tutorial and homework assistance services for students.

  1. TRIO Student Support Services (SSS): Students who have been accepted as SSS project participants may receive free long-term tutoring services by completing the SSS Request for Tutorial Services form, which is available in the SSS Office or online. Students will be assigned to a tutor for up to two hours a week per course. For more information, contact the SSS Office at (864) 250-8958.
  2. Instructional Support Program (ISP): Greenville Technical College is committed to providing quality academic support for all students. For students are not accepted for enrollment in SSS, the college has made available tutorial assistance and other services through the ISP. To inquire about services available through the ISP, contact Leola Robinson-Simpson at one of the following numbers:
    (a). (864) 848-2019 at the Greer Campus
    (b). (864) 228-5041 or 228-5042 at the Brashier Campus
    (c). (864) 250-8303 at the Barton Campus

  3. The Learning Center: The Learning Center, located in the University Transfer Building offers free assistance in mathematics and writing. Computers are available for student research, word processing or e-mail. For more information, call (864) 250-8241.
  4. ASPIRE Learning Zone: This center is reserved only for developmental students and provides services designed to help students succeed.

  5. Departmental Support: Many departments on campus offer tutoring and homework assistance, either in structured lab settings or through small group or personal meetings with instructors during office hours. For more information about these and other opportunities, talk to your instructor.
