FINANCIAL AID FAQs

What is a Student Aid Report (SAR)?A Student Aid Report (SAR) is a document the student receives after the FAFSA has been processed by the U.S. Department of Education. The SAR will list all of the answers provided on the FAFSA. The SAR will contain an individual's Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is used to determine eligibility for federal student aid. The institution will use this number to determine eligibility for financial aid based on the school's cost of attendance.
