Health & Wellness FAQ

What if I don’t get into the clinical phase of my intended health science program?
  • As with all programs with a competitive admission process, some students may not be accepted to progress into the clinical phase. If that happens, meet with your advisor to discuss options.
  • For those students not accepted into the clinical phase, your major will remain AS.SCI until either you are accepted into the clinical phase or you change your major altogether.
  • If your educational goals change and you decide to change to another health program with weighted admissions, your may have your special identifier (as mentioned in question 2) changed to that major. Therefore, you remain AS.SCI with only a change in your program identifier. But you must complete a program update form and take to Student Records for processing. This will enable you to receive any necessary communications related to your new intended major.
