Transitions offers assistance to single mothers, expectant mothers, non-traditional students, displaced homemakers, individual from economically disadvantaged families and ESL students. A minimum of six credit hours must be carried per semester to qualify for all services. A primary determining factor is income; therefore if an applicant is a Pell Grant recipient and meets the other requirements listed below, they are eligible.

Non-tradtional students are defined as students entering careers traditionally occupied by the opposite gender, such as males in nursing, and females in
automotive technology.

  • 2.25 GPA
  • Resident of South Carolina for at least one
    (1) year
  • Must have been accepted to Greenville Tech
  • Must have submitted a FAFSA form
  • Must have a permanent residence
    (cannot be in temporary housing)
  • Whenever applicable, present a green card.
