In October 2008, Greenville Tech received a 1.9 million dollar Title III Strengthening Institutions grant from the U.S. Department of Education. As outlined by the grant, "The purpose of the Title III program is to provide grants to eligible institutions of higher education to improve their academic programs, institutional management, and fiscal stability in order to increase their self-sufficiency and strengthen their capacity to make a substantial contribution to the higher education resources of the Nation." (*34 CFR 607.1) Through this project, Greenville Technical College faculty, administration, staff and support services are collaborating to unlock the future of our students and their education at Greenville Tech and beyond.
