Tuition Refunds

If we cancel a class or you are purged from a class, you will receive a 100% refund. If you drop a class, your refund depends on when you drop the class, as you can see by the chart below. You must officially drop the class by filling out the appropriate paperwork with Student Records - you can't just stop going to class. Failure to attend class is not considered an official drop. See an advisor or the records office to drop. Otherwise, you will be charged for the class, and probably get an "F."

If you have unpaid charges on your account, refund credit will be issued after the charges are covered. Credit may include bookstore refunds or excess financial aid. Refunds are processed based on the original payment method received. Credit card payments will be refunded to the card when possible, and check or cash payments will be refunded by a check. You can sign up for direct deposit  instead of receiving a check. Direct deposit will eliminate the wait time required by the mail process.
