Want an education that joins you with high paying jobs? Take a look at our Welding programs, where you can study the fundamentals or pursue more specialized skills. Our well-equipped facility and experienced instructors attract students from as far away as West Virginia and New York, and thanks to the level of hands-on preparation they receive, they leave prepared to work. We have an excellent track record of success, producing many graduates who have won not only excellent jobs but have also placed at the top of national welding competitions.Student welding 

Program Curriculum

Our welding program is accredited through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Using the Contren Learning Series as our manuals, our students are trained, according to the National welding codes including the American Welding Society of Mechanical Engineers, Section IX (ASME), and given credit through the NCCER.

We offer dual credit classes with selected high schools in Greenville County. This gives high school students the opportunity to earn college credit. Also, we offer articulation to some schools outside our service area.

Career Opportunities

Our students may find themselves working for sheet metal fabricators, construction firms, plant maintenance providers, auto body welding companies, major construction companies, nuclear power jobsites, self-employed and all other types of welding.

Students may obtain professional credentials such as Certified Welder (Subject to passing exam) and NCCER certification.
