Early College at Greenville Technical College (GTC) is designed for motivated high school age students from Greenville County schools, charter schools, private schools, online academies, etc. who seek academic challenges and want to get a head start on advanced academic goals.
Getting an early start on college credits will:
Students should coordinate dual enrollment through an academic advisor (a high school counselor, a homeschool association advisor, etc).
Please note: The college's $100 late fee and enrollment purges do not apply to Early College students.

Tuition for in-county students is locked as indicated above.
For out-of-county students, as allowed by law, Greenville Technical College will review tuition and fee rates every year and make needed adjustments. Note: This model is subject to change if there are significant changes to Lottery Tuition Assistance including the elimination of the use of LTA for high school students. We strongly encourage all students to take at least 6 credit hours.

Please be aware that the final amounts for student accounts (billing/fees) may take up to 4 weeks to be completed. Flex start courses may take longer which means your total bill may not be ready until 8 weeks after the start of the semester.
After you have taken Early College classes as a high school student, you may decide to continue your education with Greenville Technical College. GTC has smaller classes and quality instructors with one of the most affordable higher education options in the state – plus you can transfer your credits to an accredited university if you want to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
