GTC evaluates student success through persistence, graduate placement rates, and the IPEDS Outcome Measure Eight-Year Award Rate, GTC's student achievement outcome measure. In 2021, GTC established a threshold of acceptable performance and targets for achievement by 2025 for each of the institutional success measures. In 2025, the president’s cabinet, under new leadership, reviewed the Student Success Indicators and revised them to align with state performance goals. The Area Commission reviewed these measures; GTC provides updates to the entire board at the annual Board Retreat in February and at the year-end update in June.
