Greenville Technical College's Fall 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Thursday, December 17, 2026 to celebrate participating Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 graduates.
In order to be considered for graduation, a student must be active in a program, meet program requirements, and must be enrolled in at least one class for the current term.
Candidates registered for commencement who fail to meet the requirements for graduation will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony and will be notified via their GTC email account.
For more information about the graduation policy, please refer to the Greenville Technical College Student Handbook.
In order to participate, candidates must have completed the Commencement Participation Application in the Self-Service Portal and paid the participation fee by the deadline. Ceremony participants will receive priority graduation.
Spring 2026 graduates who missed the deadline to participate in the May 2026 ceremony and wish to participate in the Fall 2026 ceremony should contact Graduation@gvltec.edu before the October 16, 2026 deadline for special instructions on how to apply and pay.
All registered participants should be monitoring their student email account for regular updates from the graduation team after the application closes. Email Graduation@gvltec.edu with any questions about graduation.
All graduates who do not participate in the ceremony can expect to be graduated 3 to 6 weeks after the end of the term, not including holidays, and will receive an email to their GTC email account with instructions about picking up their awards.
If you wish to take courses after being graduated from a program, you may need to declare a new program. To do so, please submit a program change form located under Student Records on the Important Forms Page.
