Greenville Technical College's Fall Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Greenville Convention Center, One Exposition Drive, Greenville.
FALL GRADUATION CANDIDATES: In order to participate, candidates must complete the Graduation Participation Application. Students who are finishing their program requirements in the fall may access the Graduation Paricipation Application through Self Service by clicking on the "Graduation Overview" tile.
SUMMER GRADUATES: Any student who completed their program during the summer who wishes to participate in the December ceremony will need to complete a paper graduation application. A PDF of this application will be sent to eligible graduates via their student email account. Requests for replacements may be sent to Graduation@gvltec.edu.
All participants will receive email communication beginning in mid-October, letting them know what time their program's ceremony will be held. Email Graduation@gvltec.edu with any questions about graduation.
Ceremony participants will receive priority graduation. All graduates who do not participate in the ceremony can expect to be graduated 3 to 6 weeks after the end of the term and will receive an email to their GTC email account with instructions about picking up their awards.
In order to be considered for graduation, a student must be active in a program, meet program requirements, and must be enrolled in at least one class for the current term.
If you wish to take courses after being graduated from a program, you may need to declare a new program. To do so, please submit a Program Change form to the Student Records Office.
Graduation candidates who do not meet the requirements for graduation will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony and will be notified via their GTC Gmail account.
For more information about the graduation policy, please refer to the Greenville Technical College Student Handbook.
