There are many places where you can learn about the beauty industry, but there are few that train you to succeed in top salons and spas. Greenville Technical College provides small classes and real-world experience, covering both the creative side and the business skills needed to help you become an industry leader. All instructors have been salon owners or managers, and they recognize that managerial and people skills are also important for your long-term success.
Students in this program are prepared to take the exam to earn a state license, but the training goes well beyond the basics. Classroom study and demonstrations, along with practical work experience in our on-site public cosmetology clinic, enable the graduate to feel comfortable on the job from the first day of work. Classes are designed in a consecutive semester format so that students meet the credit hour requirement for financial aid.
If you're seeking a career in a high-demand field, we can help make your education even more affordable.
