PROGRAM BENEFITS

  • Allows students to learn by doing, with challenging on-the-job opportunities, coaching and feedback to support your development.
  • Develop a strong network, gain exposure to our diverse businesses, and develop their knowledge as they work side-by-side with experienced ITW leaders.
  • Students are enrolled full-time to participate in the Technical Scholars Program while being provided with up to full tuition assistance and part-time employment at a competitive wage each semester.
  • Upon completion of the program, students have the potential to become candidates for full-time employment at ITW Hartness.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Full-time student (12 credit hours)
  • Entering first semester of study
  • Must work at least 20 hr/wk at our facility
  • Complete the ITW Hartness aptitude testing

CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Technician
Technicians will complete complex mechanical and electrical assembly with our state-of-the-art packaging equipment.

Machinist
Machinist Scholars will make parts with manual milling and lathe equipment in the manufacturing environment.

Welders
Welding Scholars will work with all materials in the shop and weld parts to order from blueprint drawings.
