Students working toward acceptance into select School of Health Sciences programs are classified under the Associate in Science major until formally admitted.

Health Sciences programs may use different types of admissions processes, including:
Weighted Admissions – Applications are evaluated using a point system that considers factors such as GPA, prerequisite coursework, test scores, and other criteria. Students with the highest scores are offered program placement.
Gated Admissions – Students must first meet specific entry conditions before being considered for admission. Depending on the program, this may include:
Successful completion of all required prerequisite courses
Participation in a career talk or program information session
Holding a specific degree or professional certification
Please note: Admission to a Health Sciences program is conditional upon the successful completion of all clinical requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, physicals, and immunizations.
Once admitted to the college, students will be prompted to schedule a planning and advising session where they will complete registration for their first semester and will be assigned an advisor. Students will make appointments with their assigned advisor prior to registration opening each subsequent semester.
