If you don’t have qualifying scores or credits for placement, you must take Greenville Technical College’s placement tests. The ACCUPLACER placement test is computerized and not timed. The average testing time is up to three hours. Since it’s computerized, it is possible to stop during the test and finish at a later time.
In an effort to support your success and expedite placement testing for fall enrollment, we offer two options available for completing the ACCUPLACER placement test.
On-site ACCUPLACER Placement Testing is available at various campus locations. Testing will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Students must present valid photo identification at the time of the test. Personal cell phones or calculators will not be allowed in the testing areas. Lockers are available for personal items during testing.
Walk-in testing (including placement, TEAS and WIN) is available at the Testing Center at the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center
Walk-ins are welcomed Monday - Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. The last time to start a test is 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 12 p.m. on Friday. (Please allow up to 3 hours for testing.)

Testing at satellite campuses is by appointment only. Students wishing to take the test in-person at a Satellite campus location must use the calendars provided below to secure a testing appointment. Please be sure that you are scheduling your placement test at the appropriate location.
Once the placement test has been scheduled, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address used to schedule the appointment with instructions specific to each location.
