Middle school students in Greenville County can explore fun learning opportunities at Greenville Technical College this summer. Camps in the areas of culinary, 3D printing, robotics, automotive and more will allow rising 6th through 8th graders to experience hands-on learning taught by leaders in the field.
2025 Camps
Basic Cooking & Baking Combo Week
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - Noon

This camp is designed to provide young culinary enthusiasts with a comprehensive introduction to the art of cooking and baking. Throughout the camp, students will explore the fundamental techniques and principles of cooking and baking, including ingredient selection, food preparation, recipe reading, and proper cooking methods. With an emphasis on safety and hygiene, participants will learn how to handle kitchen tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring a secure and enjoyable cooking environment.
Create fresh pasta, homemade dressings, and brown butter cookies on Day 1. Master baking basics like bread, muffins, and s’mores-inspired cookies on Day 2.
