Summer camps in STEM, culinary and more for rising 6th-8th graders!
Middle school students in Greenville County can explore fun learning opportunities at Greenville Technical College this summer. Camps in the areas of culinary, vet care, 3D printing, welding, robotics, automotive and more will allow rising 6th through 8th graders to experience hands-on learning taught by leaders in the field.

Mastering Baking Week
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.
Location: Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI)

Campers will take their baking skills to new heights this week! This year's baking camp will focus on advanced cake decorating skills.
Weeknight Winners
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.

Come learn some everyday meals that you can whip up to impress friends and family! Each day will include recipes that take advantage of what is often available in the kitchen. We'll get creative and keep it fresh!
Global Gastronomy Part I
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.

Dates: July 10-13
Cost: $159
Punch your ticket for a trip around the world. Students will spend time with different cultures, ingredients, and the dishes that make them special. You’ll make a new stop each day and fill up that culinary passport.
Global Gastronomy Part II
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.

3D Printing
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.
Location: Center for Manufacturing Innovation
Dates: June 19-22, July 17-20
Cost: $159
Campers will use computer aided design to bring concepts to life while learning about additive manufacturing. They will design, print and assemble their projects and see a variety of 3D printers to execute their designs. Students come home with their projects.
Virtual and Robotic Welding
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 1 - 5 p.m.
Location: Brashier Campus
Dates: July 10-13
Cost: $159
Program a robotic welder! Use our safe virtual welder to learn real welding techniques without the need for protection. Students are given real-time feedback to teach them the basics of different types of welding.
Automotive/Auto Body
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - noon
Location: McKinney Center
Dates: June 26-29
Cost: $159
During this camp, students will learn the basics of automotive maintenance and repair including checking fluids, jump-starting, and basic maintenance. They will also learn vehicle components and operations. In addition, each student will receive and build a small model car learning the different car body parts, assembling processes and how paint is applied.
Automation & Robotics
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - noon
Location: Center for Manufacturing Innovation
Dates: June 12-15, July 17-20
Cost: $159
Learn the basics of robots and their growing role in Greenville County. Campers will electronically control and troubleshoot robots as well as work on safe and simply electronic projects that they can take home.
2023 Camps
Junior Vet Camp!
4-day session, Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. - Noon
Location: Northwest Campus
Dates: June 19-22
Cost: $159
Campers learn basic care for dogs and cats, including behavior recognition, first aid and CPR, as well as preventive medicine, exercise needs and toxicology. Additionally, campers explore radiology, microscope viewing and analysis of bodily fluids, and an introduction to veterinary surgery.
NOTE: There is no contact with live animals in these camps.
