The Palmetto Bank has pledged an additional $25,000 to support an endowed scholarship fund established in 2004. The scholarship provides assistance to qualifying students in any field of study at Greenville Technical College. ?Many of the students at Greenville Technical College are enabled to become successful, productive citizens of our community because of scholarship assistance like that coming from The Palmetto Bank. Without support of solid community partners these students would not be able to pursue their academic goals,? said Dr. Keith Miller, president of Greenville Technical College. Samuel L. Erwin, chairman and CEO of The Palmetto Bank, said, ?We are excited to be able to offer this support. Greenville Tech?s efforts clearly meet two of the Bank?s community support goals; education and economic development. The college and its graduates have a strong track record of success.?
